LI don’t know if you sometimes have inexplicable feelings about the insignificance of human beings, and if you also imagine how everything in front of you was like hundreds of billions of years ago. Sometimes, I will empty myself and imagine everything in front of me falling apart, traveling through the Cretaceous period hundreds of billions of years ago, huge ferns, running dinosaurs, taking their huge steps, one step two steps, everything around seems to be Trembling.

Dinosaurs will never be seen again, even in this life, but at least we can look at the fossils, or bring them home?

Today, let’s talk about the dinosaur fossils made of cement that we can move home.

It all originated from the “Fossil Light” project designed by Taiwan’s T-bone studio, using pouring mold clay to imitate the texture of fossils, and designed four fossil bio-lamps from different periods.

fossil skeleton

Tyrannosaurus rex, also known as Tyrannosaurus rex, Tyrannosaurus rex or Tyrannosaurus rex, is a giant carnivorous dinosaur with a length of about 13 meters, a hip height of about 4 meters, and a weight of about 6.8 tons. The bite force is nearly 6 tons, equivalent to the weight of an elephant.

Its fossils are distributed in the United States and western Canada in North America, with a wider distribution than other tyrannosaurids; the western part of North America in the late Cretaceous period was an independent Laramidia continent. Tyrannosaurus lived in the Maastrichtian stage at the end of the Cretaceous period, about 67 million to 65 million years ago, and was one of the last dinosaur populations before the Cretaceous-Tertiary extinction event.

Triceratops lived at the same time as Tyrannosaurus

● Triceratops is a plant-eating dinosaur whose fossils were found in the Late Cretaceous strata of North America, about 68 million to 65 million years ago. Triceratops is one of the latest dinosaurs and is often regarded as a representative fossil of the Late Cretaceous.

It was a medium-sized quadruped dinosaur, about 7 to 10 meters long, 2.5 to 3 meters high at the hip, and 6 to 12 tons in weight. They had very large frills, and three horns reminiscent of modern rhinos.

saber-toothed tiger

● Saber-toothed cats refer to a variety of different species, mainly classified under the cat family Saber-toothed tiger subfamily, hyenadontidae and cat hunters, and include two families of marsupials, living in different periods of the Cenozoic Era, Each evolved a canine tooth like a sword. Their upper canines can be up to 20 cm long and are clearly visible even with the mouth closed. Saber-toothed cats were generally stronger and larger than today’s cats, as if they were bears. Saber-toothed cats first appeared in the middle of the Eocene, and last disappeared about thousands of years ago.

Paleolithic woolly rhino

● The woolly rhinoceros, an extinct species of rhinoceros, lived in the Pleistocene and survived the Ice Age. The woolly rhinoceros lives in northern Eurasia, while its close relative, the plate-toothed rhinoceros, lives in the south. The woolly rhino has a flattened horn that pushes away snow to graze. It also has a thick layer of fur and blubber to keep warm in cold environments. The woolly rhino was hunted by early humans, which may have contributed to its extinction. Before the complete specimen of Poland was found, its shape was only known from cave paintings.

The raw material used by Fossil Light is Taiwan Chengda Changhong Technology Co., Ltd. The “Land Waterproof Powder” material produced by the company uses reservoir silt as the basic raw material, and uses the modification method to transform the waste clay into a water-repellent powder. It is ingeniously mixed with cement and sand to form the Paradise Molding Clay, which is both waterproof and breathable, and is friendly to the environment without losing the original style and details of cement.

take shape

T-bone Studio has collected all kinds of archaeological pictures and museum fossil specimens, repeatedly scrutinized and corrected these precious materials, and added a little bit of imagination to present the beautiful giants of various periods before our eyes.

light up

Insert a light bulb into a fossil bone to transform it from a mere ornament to something more useful. The design of adjustable light brightness makes it suitable for various spaces. It can be used as a mood light on the table or on the floor, a night light by the bedside, a reading light and more. When the lights are on, the shadow of the giant beast is projected on the wall, adding to the atmosphere.
