LMy love for the Belif brand is well known. I have tried all Belif products, big and small, whether they are greasy or refreshing, I have tried them all, and I also vigorously promote them to those around me.

The following evaluations only represent personal experience, only for light fish (because I only raise light fish), and the evaluation opinions are only for the reference of all aquarists. Professional aquarists are welcome to correct

Let me talk about the situation of the fish first: there are about 50 light fishes, ranging in size from 2cm to 5cm, the smallest of which is Tucano Huolingeng, which is only 2cm in size, and the largest is Dianguangheijian, which has grown to 5cm. Other fish Only about 3-4cm in length, all of them are South American fatty carps, and there are no African fatty carps or Southeast Asian carps. The reared lanternfish are all omnivorous, only the super yellow devil and super red devil show strong herbivory. In addition to feed, they will also eat the young shoots of aquatic plants and algae and pellicles on the sunken wood.

All fish received artificial feed after being baited, and there were no species that were particularly difficult to open their mouths (such as pearl lamps, Peruvian diamond lamps, etc.). One month, others have been raised for at least half a year), and no fish died in the middle (indicating that there is no reason to buy new fish).

Let me show you the light fish feed I am currently using:

From left to right: Decai Tropical Fish Flake Feed, Denali (also called Big Milk Le or Daniel) Whole-effect Staple Food Flakes, Fuhua (Xijin) Bug Bite Feed Small Pellets, Most Allicin M, Zhuobi Hakka Nanmei Meat Miscellaneous Soft Grain S No.

The ingredients of fish food are based on the manufacturer’s ingredient list. The default order of the manufacturer’s ingredient list is the order of the actual added ingredient ratio from high to low. I guess no one can verify the specific situation.

In terms of price, since each model has different specifications, the price of a certain treasure is also uneven, so no comparison is made.

If you buy it, most of the feed can be found in Dabai Aquarium, and there are also sub-packages for sale, which are much cheaper. Some high-end feeds are not available in Dabai’s family, so you can go to X-FISH to find them.

01. Tetra Tropical Fish Flake Feed

German brand, this should be a general-purpose feed with a very high penetration rate, with high cost performance and good palatability.

The price should be the cheapest among these types of feed, and the diameter of the flakes ranges from 3mm to 2cm.

The ingredients are mainly fish and its derivative products, and grains. The nutritional value is average, and the protein content is 46%. It is completely fine to meet the basic needs.

The palatability is very good, and almost all fish can eat it for the first time. Although it is claimed to be a slow-sinking type, it actually feels more inclined to the floating type, and basically does not actively sink, and the fish will not break into pieces when eating.

02. Denali Whole Effect Staple Chips

German brand, this brand should be regarded as LV in the fish food industry, the price is relatively expensive, but if the number of fish is not large, one can can actually feed for a long time.

The price is expensive, and it is the only feed that does not use fish products at all. The appearance is red full-effect flakes, the smell is rather peculiar, a little spicy feeling, the flake size is 5mm-2cm.

In terms of ingredients, I personally think that it is relatively closest to the wild environment. Except for krill (31%), insects and insect larvae account for a very high proportion (about 25%), and the rest contains algae and other plant components. At the same time, shrimp is added Penicillin and lactic acid bacteria. The crude protein content is 55.5%.

The palatability is still good, but due to the large size of the flakes, I usually crumble them before feeding to make it easier for smaller fish to eat. Slow-sinking type, even if it is pulled into the water by fish, it will not sink to the bottom immediately, and will always float in the middle and lower layers of the water.

03. Fuhua (Xijin) Bug Bite pellet feed

The Canadian brand, also called Big Milk Le or Daniel, is a relatively unpopular feed. Fuhua Xijin’s filter cartridge is very famous, but the feed has yet to be promoted!

The price is in the middle. Irregular brown particles, the smell is not pleasant in my opinion, the diameter of the particles is about 1mm.

In terms of ingredients, it is similar to Denali. Insect larvae account for the main proportion. The label says insect larvae and salmon recipes. The ingredients of insect larvae are relatively simple. It’s the Black Horned Fly). Insect protein accounts for 40%.

The palatability is very good, the slow-sinking type, the fish schools are active in grabbing food, and basically they can adapt to it when they are fed for the first time. After observing the state of the fish after eating the feed, I feel that the taste of this feed should not be too hard (I have never eaten it, so I can only feel it through the state of the fish), and the fish can only chew and swallow it relatively quickly.

This is actually very important. Some light fishes have fragile stomachs. If the feed is too dry and the food is too aggressive, leading to indigestion, it will inevitably increase the risk of enteritis or ascites. In addition, light fish are small in size, and once the digestive system has problems, it will be very troublesome.

The disadvantage is that there is a certain degree of pulverization, the pulverized part is very fine (similar to the fineness of flour or milk powder), and the fish is not easy to see, so the pulverized part is easy to float with the water, and some pulverized parts float on the water surface to form an oil film status.

04. Most Allicin Granules

German brand, a high-end feed with a relatively high penetration rate, and the price is in the middle. Brown strip-shaped particles, with obvious garlic flavor, particle diameter of about 0.5-0.8mm, slow-sinking type.

The ingredients are mainly fish products, molluscs and insects, and the crude protein content is 54%. Personally, I feel that the role of allicin is an auxiliary role. Good water quality, constant water temperature, quarantine of new fish, and the health of the fish are the key to preventing illness. Allicin can only be said to be icing on the cake and enhance resistance, but if Fish are already sick, and it is almost impossible to rely on allicin feed to treat the disease.

The palatability is very good, and the fish are only active in grabbing food. The disadvantage is that the granules are slightly larger (compared to the size of my fish), and it feels harder. It takes time for the fish to chew, and it is a bit difficult to look at (I don’t know if the granules are too large). What’s more, the fat is heavy, and you can see the obvious oil film when feeding. If you only feed Moster for a long time, the fish will obviously gain weight, so it is best to feed it with other brands of feed.

05. Zhuobike South American Meat and Soft Grain

Polish brand, the legendary little worm, the pinnacle of Zhuo Bike.

The price is on the high side. Red granules, I personally think it smells the best among these models, I can’t wait to try two. The length of the soft strip is about 3mm, it really looks like a bug floating in the water, it sinks slowly.

In terms of ingredients, fish and fishmeal are still the main ingredients, krill and mollusks total 8%, insects 5%, and the content of allicin is higher than Most’s allicin granules. Judging from the proportion of various formulas, the price of this feed is actually high. It is estimated that the production process of the soft strip itself is more complicated than the traditional flakes and granules, resulting in a higher price.

The palatability is very good, and the fish are only active in grabbing food. The disadvantage is that the size is a little bit too big, even the largest electro-optical black room can’t allow two simultaneous entrances, and the visual inspection of 3cm and above lotus lamps is still no problem at all, but it is more difficult if it is smaller. For Tucano This kind of mini light fish can only stare at others; P. It should be a very suitable size for Egypt, colorful and the like.

06. Other

Others that have also been used include Denali light fish full-effect staple food and JBL silver can expert fish food.

Let me talk about Denali’s light fish food first, it is indeed a good feed, with a high proportion of insect larvae, it smells very fragrant, and has good palatability. One thing that I personally cannot accept is that the particles are really too small, as fine as flour, and the fish will immediately float all over the tank as soon as they grab food. As a host with obsessive-compulsive disorder, it is really unacceptable. As a mini fish or a small seedling, it is Very good choice.

JBL Silver Can Expert Fish Food: The portion is still very large. The highlight is the so-called smart lid design. I haven’t used it anyway, and it’s safe to scoop it out with a small spoon. The particle size is relatively moderate, but like Moster’s problem, it feels dry and hard, and the ingredients are not outstanding. The proportion of fish meal, yeast powder, and wheat flour is relatively high. The palatability is good, but it is probably due to the fact that it is too dry. The fish will swallow for a long time after eating only a few. Fish with fragile stomachs may have a greater risk of ascites.
